While Prakash Jha's Rajniti is starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif among other big names, Mani Ratnam has taken up Ramayan and has cast Ash and Abhishek Bachchan in leading roles. [READ: Is Katrina better than Aishwarya?
As reported by Mumbai Mirror, Ratnam was very keen on casting the couple as Ram and Sita. What's more is that Govinda has very keenly stepped into the shoes of Hanuman.
