Aishwarya bats for Bhansali

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has given the nod to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film, is backing the ace director despite his last movie Saawariya being a box office disaster.

The film was also not spared by critics as they panned it heavily and audiences shied away from watching it at the theatres. Ash feels that one failure does not mean that Bhansali should be written off from the Bollywood map as he is one of the best talents the country has ever produced.

“Sanjay Leela Bhansali has gifted me two of my most memorable films,” Ash says while referring to Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas.

“He is a master filmmaker and I don’t think one failure is a very big deal. Everyone has highs and lows in their career and you can’t write anyone off just because he has failed once. Look at the films he has made, you can’t write him off or take away the enormous wealth of talent he has in him. That’s unfair. He is one of the best filmmakers India has ever produced and he will continue to make great films.”However, Ash chooses to remain mum about the project.

She says, “It’s a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. So, you can expect the magnitude and opulence that every Bhansali movie has. It will be huge in every way. The script is extraordinary. Aishwarya Rai - Rani fight heats up!

Aishwarya Rai and hubby, Abhishek Bachcchan are busy shooting in the jungles of Kerala for the project based on Ramayana directed by Mani Ratnam.Aishwarya on her part is receiving Z category security. Her look in the movie is being kept a highly guarded secret. She is playing the role of Sita.

Mani Ratnam always makes sure not to release any pictures of his movies before its release. The shooting for the movie has been held in the forest area, helping the director’s cause as no cars can reach the site and they need to travel in jeeps.Arriving in cars, the stars get into jeeps for the final journey to the shooting spot. Aishwarya Rai is heading to Kulu

Aishwarya will not be able to spend much time with her hubby Abhishek in Kochi where they are currently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s forthcoming film Ravana. Though Ash spent a quiet birthday with her husband in the forests of Kochi and is currently enjoying her solitude but soon she will be flying off to Kulu Manali to be with Rajnikanth.

Ash will dashing to Kulu and Manali on November 14 to join the crew of her sci-fi film Endhiran, previously titled Robot, which has the Tamil superstar playing the lead. The shooting of Endhiran began in the exotic Machu Picchu valley of Peru on September 8 this year. Akshay and Aishwarya in their own Action Replay

Producer Vipul Shah has announced that Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be teaming up for the first time since Khakee for his new movie Action Replay. Set in the elegant world of 1950s Mumbai, it will give both actors the chance to shine in a period drama.

“Action Replay will combine a contemporary setting with a period look where Mumbai of the 1950s will be recreated," said Vipul, "Nitin Desai will do the set design. He will replicate the time period by constructing roads, cars and houses over six acres of land in his Karjat studio.”

It's been an up-and-down year for Akshay with the disastrous Tashan followed by the super-duper-mega-hit (that's a technical term) Singh is Kinng!
